Effectively, strategic modelling is the ability to produce a practical What-if Analysis, a framework from which Advisors and clients can illustrate their current and desired financial scenarios and show the effect of presenting options in these figures allowing our clients to project their financial position forward and show the effect that favourable or adverse conditions will have on their requirements, creating a strategic model enabling each client to move closer to their objectives.
Our system of creating What-if Analysis allows clients to build a financial model and then overlay this model with different case scenarios and planning assumptions, illustrating the effect of changing circumstances in out clients financial position.
The power of this approach is that it does not produce an endless stream of product recommendations but allows our clients to look objectively at the strengths and weaknesses of their present and future financial positions. To draw their own conclusions from the financial model and to enter into managed steps to improve their position.
